Behind the Printing

MOSAIC worked very closely with the photographer of the book through multiple press checks to meet the client’s standards. Our UV press allowed for amazing ink holdout on an uncoated sheet.

This was a challenging job to print, due to the solid ink coverage and high-contrast and dynamic photography. All reproduced on an uncoated stock.

From hand-folded dust jackets, to packaging each book in a vellum wrap with a gold seal, RDV Vineyards Black Book Number 1 was a memorable job.
