Challenge

GGroup Brands, LLC, is a leading technology company that provides group management solutions to both enterprises and individual customers through a series of high-functioning and user-friendly technology platforms.

To expand its company reach and brand identity, Group Brands acquired multiple group management platform companies, including its flagship brand SignUpGenius and Fundly, TimeTap, Membership Toolkit, and Learning Stream. As part of its overarching brand strategy, the company was looking to cohesively present these newly acquired brands and future brands under one distinguished umbrella company.

Solution

Brand name and identity of the new umbrella company:

To start the creative process of optimizing a new company name for Group Brands, LLC, MOSAIC coordinated individual interviews with various stakeholders from each company to learn more about each company’s history, values, culture, services, and customers. Utilizing common themes and attributes from the interviews and previous market research, MOSAIC built a strategic direction that identified both naming requirements and primary themes the new company name should embody. Through a series of word association exercises, MOSAIC presented multiple rounds of naming options. After several collaborative sessions, key stakeholders chose to move forward with the name Lumaverse Technologies which the stakeholders felt embodied the concept of bright, intelligent, community, and group.

Brand Messaging Architecture:

With a company name in place, MOSAIC developed a compelling brand messaging architecture composed of a tagline, bridge copy, and various copy blocks. The messaging focused on effectively communicating Lumaverse Technologies’ identity to both enterprises and individual customers.

Company Logo Design:

The Lumaverse Technologies logo plays with varying line thicknesses to create a mark that is bold yet elegant and sophisticated. The mark, delicate on its own, gains a grounded presence when encased in the solid hexagon, which suggests both strength and illumination. The color palette is composed of light and dark shades of turquoise, which suggest a digital environment while also retaining an inviting and friendly space. The selected palette further distinguishes the brand’s mark within the group management sector.

Website Development:

Utilizing market research, new brand identity, and established website requirements, MOSAIC worked alongside members of the Lumaverse Technologies team to design and develop a company website that would best serve the needs of its target market.

Conclusion

Through our strategic efforts in the website architecture layout, overall creative design and engaging content, Lumaverse Technologies was able to successfully introduce its new brand identity with a beautiful, robust and user-friendly website.
