Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern  will help the marketing team respond to clients’ needs for marketing elements to enhance the overall marketing and creative strategy offered by MOSAIC.  This position must be highly organized, very attentive to details, and able to work in a team atmosphere. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of web and social media. They must work quickly and consistently while displaying professionalism.


Assist with marketing efforts, including, but not limited to:

  • Execute daily/weekly/monthly marketing activities for clients as assigned
  • Assist with the creation of marketing campaigns, including their design, execution and follow-up (analytics)
  • Help create content for social media campaigns—assist with posting, monitoring and analyzing efforts
  • Help research, write and edit blog posts for the MOSAIC blog as required
  • Assist in evaluating, vetting, proofing and revising new or current methods and collateral for engaging contacts for both current client and potential new business
  • Assist with website updates, including the MOSAIC website
  • Help prepare and proof proposals/presentations/collateral/etc.
  • Conduct online research to develop targeted contact lists and provide input into marketing efforts
  • Manage, maintain and analyze existing email marketing lists and campaigns

Candidate must be able to:

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities in a timely manner and prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Follow written and oral instructions accurately
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date time records
  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a must—Google Analytics, InDesign, Slack, Hootsuite, marketing automation platforms, and SEM Rush are preferred, but not required.

  • How to interact with a professional company, including exposure to C-Level Executives
  • How to create and manage long-term, multi-channel marketing campaigns including, but not limited to: email, direct mail, print collateral, social and content
  • How to create, track and manage social media plans and marketing calendars
  • How to build relationships with the online community by assisting in the management of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media accounts
  • How to track campaigns through multiple analytics tools, including Google Analytics and SEM Rush, RivalIQ and others
  • How to create compelling content that will be shared via online and offline channels to reach target audiences
  • How to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic growing environment


  • Three or more years of marketing education in an undergraduate program (Marketing, Strategic Communications, Advertising or Journalism major preferred)
  • Familiarity with social networking sites desired, but will also train
  • Strong customer service, team work and communications skills
  • Ability to visualize campaigns and translate verbal discussions into attractive copy
  • Self-motivation and strong initiative to continually learn and grow
  • Demonstrated innovation, creativity and decision-making abilities
  • Great work ethic, attitude, and commitment to being the best
  • Detail-oriented with ability to deliver assignments on-time
  • Reliable and motivated to perform the job accurately and in a timely fashion
